I thought the basic ingredient of pizza was cheese.? Am I wrong? Maybe an Italian or an American could confirm this please.! There was no cheese in the pizza we ordered for delivery and by the time we could peek in and check, the delivery boy was out of there!
The dough was uncooked. I took a bite and I realized it and called them and the boy that I spoke to said he was sorry but he couldn’t do anything. Am I supposed to eat raw pizza? Do we have to specify that we would like our pizza to be cooked. .
Again perhaps somebody could confirm this. In this day of fast foods and pizza’s I have yet to master the art of ordering for delivery. Or are we supposed to order and cross our fingers and hope its cooked. Well I asked them to take it back but they haven’t yet come to collect it, they haven’t given me a refund.
- So what should a customer like me do. Pizza’s are not cheap and for me to forgo a meal just because the chef/cook(do you call the guy who tosses or forgets to toss dough into pizza oven a cook/Chef?) is bad at his job? Even when I insisted on speaking to the manager.who I couldn’t get to because he was MIA(missing in action). perhaps too scared to come to the phone and admit that he had a shitty product. the customer service guys would only say they were sorry but wouldn’t do anything about it. is this customer service. do these franchises have so many customers that they don’t care about quality or even remotely try to fix a wrong that they did?
When are we as Indians going to get customer service like you have in the US. is the manager here not accountable to anybody.? I think I will in the future go to a bigger corporate;like pizza hut or papa johns for my pizza craving. by the way, pizza hut and papa john’s in powai do deliver on LBS marg(w). So get your pizza from a reputed place where they know how to make a pizza.not some place where they throw a bunch of ingredients together
also if you think smoking joes are cheap .they are not. even the size of their pizza is smaller than other joints, their medium which is supposed to serve 2 is like the personal pizza that serves one in Papa Johns. their family size which is supposed to serve 3. and cost upwards of 400 is like the medium in papa johns, i.e. If you do decide to still order from them. I think their serving sizes were designed with children ages 3-5 in mind. Their family size pizza will definitely feed a family of 3 really really small children. only children.excluding adults and everybody else.
Also don’t go by the prices in their pamphlets. when you call they will usually tell you the prices are old and give you new prices. apparently they keep increasing their prices like the real estate market in mumbai
