Three different times I have ordered from the Smokin’ Joes pizzas on Sterling Centre, HOME Delivery. It has been terrible every time. Once there was 2 metalic staples I found in the pizza. I gave another chance only’coz previous times they had shown some decent apology and replacement/ compensated for the same. This time, the owner a Mr. Franklin was very rude. He argued like he had all the time in the world and no concern for the big-fat wannabe-international-kinda-brand Smokin’ Joes. Never order frm this man.he refused to replace a wrong order he sent to us and he sent all the toppings SWEET and then insisted that all Pizzas are supposed to have sweet sauces.
He wasted my time and said’We are free to order from Dominos or Pizzahut if we have problems’. I was shocked and disgusted with his attitude. This time the pizza was cold and soggy .tasted terrible. and was delivered late .so no one had the patience to wait for the replacement and we threw away most of it. When we gave feedback to Franklin frm Sterling Center M.G road .he scoffed and acted rude and argumentative. Refused to replace it beciz we had not kept the whole pizza to return to him uneaten. Why do we have to keep it uneaten when it is delivered at 11 p.m. in the night and was meant to be’dinner’? In fact he should have apologised.
So, I wrote to their company itself but they have a very lax and indifferent attitude. The feedback link on their website is some sham and they make people waste time by writing any feedback as they have no intention of taking any actions upon complaints. They sent a reply saying the Smokin’ Joes team would contact soon.this email reply of their computer, had no reference/complaint number nor deadline of how "soon" they plan to contact? why keep the feedback link then on the website? they charge prices like the international brands of US but the just cannot compete in product, service, or even commitment to customers.
Please stick to brands which are "really" international. This one is a big sham and the pizza is not tasty or upto the mark in even ingredients. Avoid if possible esp Home delivery. Stinkin’ Joe’s pizzas will not get another dime of my money at least.
