Don't buy technical / electronic products/gadgets

I had ordered a Microsoft wireless controller for Xbox 360,


for which am sharing my experience,


While Snapdeal is good in delivering products, they lack to check the credential and sincerity of vendors associated with them. Also they simply don’t have a call center where you can speak to a human being directly. The help desk is so useless that they simply reply with blind eyes without checking whether the info is captured correct.


I ordered the controller twice as first piece was simply not connecting to the console. Also it’s RT button was not working.


I ordered for a replacement. I got new replacement in a week’s time but this time the down arrow button of navigation was not working. The Duracel(2 units) received along with the product were also discharged though were sealed.


Now when I put a request again for replacement(pl see am consistent with only to get a right product for the money I spent), this time I got a reply that, it’s with manufacturers warranty and I need to approach a service station. The serious joke is the reply was something like that,

Your purchase has a manufacturer warranty which requires you to visit(brand name)’s service center if you face any issues with your item. Make sure to carry a copy of the invoice with you.

So you can see how worst it is to get back to them. Now I have already written 2 mails for which I don’t see any revert.


Also I got a link to rate them by stars .


Up to 6 for not recommending to others


7 & 8 for May Be


9 &10 for definitely


& when I choose below 6, The form gets filled up but simply I experienced unable to post it. and when I choose above 7, it got posted.  SO I SIMPLY DOUBT the integrity of Snapdeal and gonna stop my shopping from this portal here on wards.


Their supply chain management is excellent but the product is an underlying and if it’s not fulfilled, what the heck I do with the delivery?


In this, what I simply suffered is my 2 kids(6 year & 3 year) ask me 1000 times in a day, when they will get the right controller, so that they can play and I feel bad that despite paying 10-12 days in advance, the right product is not delivered and I can’t speak to some executive there.
