Delivery date always keeps extending.

I am a regular online shopper.(Bangalore) The first incidence happened when I needed one laptop for my exams, so I picked up a good hp model and booked it via net banking on Snapdeal on 19.4.14 and the max delivery date was upto 25, and my exams were on 26th, but the delivery was not completed. I checked my mail and called the customer care, they said that the date has been extended to 28th. I was cool, thought I can wait for two more days, but even on 28th the laptop didn’t came.


I called the care and they said the date has been extended to 8 of next month. Now that was ridiculous. In anger I cancelled the ordered and got my money back within 4 days. They said the product is not available. I ordered the same lappy on the same day at night on Flipkart paying 3000 bucks more but they were so quick that I got it within 14 hrs. Awsm.


(Dhanbad)The other incidence happened recently, in diwali offeres my father was very new to online shopping, he saw a good 32" Samsung TV priced at some 23000 rupees and booked it on 6th of the month. The delivery was said upto 12th. But the same case, the product didn’t came, they said the date has been extended to 18th. Assuring my dad that it will come, he waited till that, but the same happened. This time the date was not extended but they said the courier will deliver "by tomorrow". Hoping.waited till 22nd, my dad called me and asked me if we should cancel it or not. Obviously I was very much frustrated and my dad and my family members were too.


I cancelled the order, but thought I had to get rid of my anger. I called the customer support and shouted at them. They said that the courier is on the way, but I cancelled the order, and they said like refuse the order if the product reaches. On the same day my dad got a call from the courier that the product has REACHED, and they are going to deliver by the next day, but my dad refused there itself. He got another 32" TV from Big Bazaar.


If the products are not available at my location, why the hell they show it is available. Better not to.
