Horrible experience with Snapdeal.

I would like share my horrible experience with Snapdeal.


I purchased a Philips Juicer Mixer Grinder on 03/09/2013(order no.1230611116), which was delivered on 06/09/13. To my surprise the item had an opened packing with the item cracked inside - hence next day(07/09/13) I put in a complaint(no. 3135793) to get the item replaced along with the snaps of the broken product. After that day I have been given false promises 3 times that the product will replaced in the next four days - and now 12 days(3 x 4) have passed, without any action whatsoever. Thanks to their amazing customer support - even today I have been promised pick-up again.


These guys don’t have any SLAs / process to escalate complaints, what the customer service does is just to log in the details every-time an update is received on a complaint. Today the customer support was shameless enough to ask me courier the product at my cost. On insisting to escalate the issue, all I have been promised is a callback from a so-called’senior’ from their team - that too within 24 hours.


Whatever excellent experience I have got with dealing with this company is enough for me to not let anybody I know from dealing with them. Theirs is an overrated / over-hyped website, what just transfers the orders received to small / unreliable sellers / courier companies, without focusing on customer service / experience.
