Beware of cancellation at the last moment!

After being referred to Snapdeal.com by a friend, I decided to place an order for socks on May 24, 2013.


After following up multiple times, I was informed that "the order has been cancelled due to unavailability of product. This is in regards with the complaint which you have registered on Snapdeal against the order number 1008668589. We are running short of stock, so we would be unable to process your order and the amount you have paid will be credited to your bank account within 7-10 working days. "


Now,


Snapdeal declined that there were similar products available from a different vendor but this was not true and I HAD TO SEND SNAPDEAL LINKS OF SNAPDEAL SHOWING SIMILAR PRODUCTS ON THEIR OWN WEB SITE!


Snapdeal declined on using my money to adjust for a fresh order for a similar product.


> Snapdeal forced me to wait for the refund(TILL JUNE 8), place a fresh order with no benefit AT ALL.


> I HAD TO PAY EXTRA SINCE THE NEW ORDER WAS NOW LESS THAN 200!


Overall, the experience is the worst I have had and I am disappointed! I shop online and I have never had such trouble with flipkart, Groupon or Shopclues.

Now, we have build our system in which we can move customer's order to different seller, so that orders are not cancelled and can be delivered to customer.As we have refunded your amount, your issue stands closed.Regards,Snapdeal Team
