I was placing an order on snapdeal.com on October 8th for WD 1tb hard drive, when I placed the order & clicked confirm to pay, it did not go ahead & I got an error, Timed Out. Mind you, I have a 10mbps connection & am sure there was no issue with my internet connection cause I always have my messengers on & they did not show any blips. Then when I went back to snapdeal.com, it showed that the product was out of stock.
Later, I called the customer service dept & asked them what is going on, they said somebody else already placed the order & they did not have it in their warehouse!! Later, on the same day, I ordered thru infibeam & guess what, they dispatched the order in 2 days & delivered in less than 24 hours! Also, the price I got for the hard disk was even lesser than snapdeal (same product, WD My passport).
Now when I am checking snapdeal, the price has gone down from 5069 to 5020 and again it’s in stock... I am wondering how stupid is that!!! Clearly a company without any sense, horrible customer service & cheap internet servers and or payment gateways!
Never ever transact with snapdeal, they s*ck!!!
