Snapdeal.com - Cheating customers

Order No. : 1288019539. Order Placed On : 2013-09-28, 12:34:30. I have placed an order for Samsung Washing Machine from this site and paid thru net banking. As per their website status product should be shipped by maximum 03 Oct 2013 (ordered date is 28 Sept 2013). I was keep checking the status in their website but there was no change in the status even on 03 Oct which is the last date for shipment.


*03 Oct, 2013*


I have called their customer care at around 10AM asking for status of order/shipment, customer care executive confirmed that it is going to be shipped today. I have waited till evening and checked the status around 6PM, still there was no change in the status (in progress) and again called up their customer care got same response "Product will be shipped today and courier details will be updated in two hours." I have checked the status at around 10 PM, as expected there was no change in the status and product was not shipped.


At 10 PM I wrote an email to cancel my order and refund my money as they could not ship/deliver the product as promised. To my surprise I got below response.

*Response from Snapdeal:*


We have forwarded your order cancellation request to the concerned department but before the cancellation request was completed, the product processing request was shared with the vendor.


We request you to refuse delivery once it will reaches you and the product will be returned to us and we will initiate the refund for the same, upon receipt of the product.

Their website clearly says, order can be cancelled if the shipment of the product is not done. My order is not shipped and when requested for cancellation they are asking me to wait till the shipment, delivery and refuse the product. I do not understand why should I receive product if I want to cancel the order which is not yet shipped. It clearly looks, they are playing all the tricks and trying to fool the customer and not ready to cancel the order.


*04 Oct*


Called up their customer got response "due to high demand for the product they could not ship the product however she was not having any information about shipment date like when it is going to be shipped"


Their customer care is worst and do not have any knowledge except telling you "Product will be shipped today" once the deadline is reached "they will try to convince telling there is high demand for the product, if there is high demand and not capable to deliver the product why should they accept the orders?


I strongly request you all to avoid snapdeal.com and save your time and money and do not get cheated by them.


*Update:15 Oct, 2013** **Delivered the product without invoice/bill*


After so many follow ups, they shipped the product and delivered on 11 Oct, 2013. Snapdeal took 14 days to deliver the product after making full payment. Now the worst part is they have not included the Invoice/bill for the product. I have again contacted their support but no response (I have got an email saying that your issue will be resolved asap however now it is almost 3 days but no response and no bill). I really do not know how to claim warranty (incase) without proper bill.


They will not dispatch the products on time, no on time delivery, they have customer care but useless. Practically you can not cancel the order or return the product.


If I repeatedly contact their customer care or support, they will stop responding or stop replying to my email. **Order products in snapdeal If you want see all sorts of tensions and mental torture.*
