Frustrated with Snapdeal

Dear Mr. Kunal & Mr. Rohit,


I am writing this email because I am completely frustrated and disappointed with the Snapdeal’s customer service team. Now, I have completely lost trust on them and I believe that you would look into this issue and resolve it as soon as possible.


On 22nd of September, 2014, I have placed order for HP DESKJET 6525 e-All in One Printer and I was expecting to receive the item on 26th of September, however I have received the product only 29th of September due to this I was forced to cancel my travel plans. Even though this is completely unacceptable, I can accept because the item was delivered. But the actual issue is not the delivery but the seller has shipped me the product for which the warranty was already expired. Moreover, the product itself is faulty. The copier and scanner is not working, the printer inks have been dried up already.


Immediately, I have raised a return request with the Snapdeal’s customer support team however, they haven’t arranged for return pick up till now, it is already a month now. When I called customer support, I have been informed that they are looking into the issue and they will resolved as soon as possible but I have received an email stating that warranty has been updated.


On the very next day of delivery, I have raised my refund request and I have clearly informed the customer care multiple times that my issue is not warranty alone but the actual product, I still don’t know why they are not looking into it. Do they expect me to take the faulty product to service center to repair and use it? Definitely, I don’t want that to happen with my new printer. Also, I cannot request the HP technician to provide job sheet for return because I have already sent an official reply from HP that they are not authorized to do so.


I have placed many orders with Snapdeal before but this experience make me feel it is not a trustable company. Since, I have paid through my credit card the money has been locked up and now I would need to pay my bills unnecessarily because of this delay. I am seriously disappointed and unhappy with Snapdeal. I don’t expect this kind of service from one of the largest e-commerce giants.


I kindly request you to look into this issue and initiate my refund at the earliest.
