I have been a regular buyer from Snapdeal from the time when Snapdeal only provided coupons. And now that they have also started giving so competitive price on products I am a frequent buyer. But every frequent buyer from Snapdeal has a bad experience.
I ordered a Byond Fablet from snapdeal.com and I received the phone on time but when I unpacked it I found the android phone had a list of contact and the Facebook and mail accounts were also configured. And the screen marks definitely revealed that someone was using the phone earlier.
I took some pictures of it to complain and arranged reverse pick up which also delayed to pick up. Snapdeal customer care asked if I would like to get my money refunded or wanted a new phone. I of course wanted a new phone so asked for a new one.
Then after the reverse pick up was done, I had no contact from Snapdeal for a week and so I started calling them and they said that they have not received the product, so I had to wait for the confirmation. I followed up 3 to 4 times and finally today I receive a mail that the money will be refunded to my account. I called up the customer support and told them I wanted a new phone and I have been waiting for last 20 days for it.
The customer support says that you will atleast have the money refunded to your account, as if they had the option not to refund! So all my wait for the new phone has been a waste and I also wasted so much of time calling them. I also availed a coupon code offer that Citibank was offering at that time when I purchased.
So do you have any compensation for that or should I consider it as a BAD EXPERIENCE with Snapdeal?
