Horrible Ongoing Experience With Snapdeal

I am going through a terrible experience with Snapdeal regarding order no-783072029. And, I would never recommend to anyone if it comes to pricey things like laptop and if you need it in 4-5 days. I never bought any real product from snapdeal before except deals or 1/2 product of not more than 50. But, I dont know why I decided to order a Laptop from them. And, that was just the start of some horrible experience I was going to have.


I placed an order for a Samsung laptop on 6th Nov after doing too much research. Well the one and only reason I ordered it from snapdeal, though the same laptop was available for around 1k less on ebay, was to get it shipped as fast as possible and before 12th because it was a gift for my little sis. And, since snapdeal had its reputation so I never had a second thought about it. But, as soon as I placed my order, I noticed that in order details the shipping date to was mentioned 12 Nov. So, I was like this should be a mistake. This must be the delivery date. Coz if this was to be true then whatever I was thinking of fast shipping and all, was waste.


But, then I thought no I will call customer care and confirm it and if thats the case then ask them to ship it in next 1-2 days at max. Well I called them and the guy who picked up started very politely and after I was confirmed that it was the shipping date, I requested to change it.*But, after hearing my request he started talking like its a government office. "Sir, product will be shipped on 12th only. And, there is no way it can be shipped before that. We cant do anything in this matter." * Its like, I cant hear anything what you are saying but this is written in your order so thats it. Well, I hung up. Next day I again thought of trying, and this time the same kind of reply from other end but with some improvement, that, "I am putting it on a priority. Thats the best I can do."


Well, after that con I really believed that guy and thought will be shipping by atleast 10th. But, no I was wrong. And, these guys *shipped it on


12th Nov* only. So, no matter what your request is, they just need money and as soon as they get hold of it, they dont even care an ounce you placed an order. And that is what Snapdeal is all about nowadays.


Now, well they shipped on 12th and on firstflight website it was showing in transit. But, to my surprise on 14th also there was no update on the website. I thought maybe because of Diwali they havent updated. So, I waited for one more day but when it was not updated I searched for first flight customer care number. But, all in vain. Some number werent working and on some no one answered.


So, after I was fed up with firstflight, I called Snapdeal Customer Care. And from here the story started of "24-48 hours hollow lies".


15-11-12 I got the answer from Snapdeal end, just wait for 24-48 hours and it will be delivered to you.


16-11-12 After 24 hours, still no update on first flight website. I contacted again and I was assured that the product will be delivered in next 24 hours.


17-11-12 After 48 hours, still no update on first flight website. I called again and the lady on the other end asked me to be on hold. Then she told me, "Sir, It will take some time to know the status.So, you will be given the info afterwards." I asked then after how much time should I call ? She said we will arrange a call back from our side.(Another hollow lie from Snapdeal)


18-11-12 After 72 hours, as usual nothing on first flight. I called again to snapdeal and asked why I didnt get a call back and the answer I got back was "Sir, maybe she forgot to call." What the heck man !!! Is this kind of service we expect from a reputed company !!! Afterwards, knowing he has


said something inappropriate added maybe she didnt get any relevant information. And, again asked me for another 24 hours saying today is Sunday so it was not delivered but it will surely be delivered on Monday.


19-11-12 Its been 13 days(half a month) since I placed my order and still dont know where the laptop is. Today I called snapdeal and talked to some manager or someone. His name was some Mr. Rajiv Rana. And, now today again he asked me to give 24-48 hours more apologizing for the delay.


So, I dont know what to do with these guys. I am stuck and nothing is going my way.


Now, if you cant guarantee the delivery of product then please dont sell it. And, make people’s life miserable. I guarantee if I had ordered it from ebay, I would be typing something else here.


20-11-12 I didnt receive the product today also. And, again when contacted to one superviser Mr.Prabhat, he has promised me to get back to me tomorrow evening with all the details.


22-11-12 Still no clue about the laptop. Superviser, Mr. Prabhat promised me to call back yeserday till today no call received.


23-11-12 I just tried to connect to Mr. Prabhat but they ask me to wait as the call is being connected and then after 5 minutes disconnected the call.


This is harassment of innocent people who dont try to be harsh and wait. I have lost my patience and I dont want a refund from these guys but my product and compensation too for all the problems I’m facing now. Dont dare you cancel my order Snapdeal. I want my product in next 2-3 days.
