I bought an ASUS router from snapdeal because the deal was good, and to be unfortunate that was my greatest mistake ever. The shipment date was provided and was to be delivered by the 17th of July 2013. Only received one email from snapdeal with the shipment and tracking information.
So I patiently waited for the product to arrive. Finally, it was 17th and still no sign of the product. I understand the difficulties in logistics, so waited till the 23rd and yet no update on the product or any email communication update.
Decided to call the customer care and found out that even they are clueless. They told to to wait for a day or two while they write to their logistics department for an update. On 25th called the Customer care and they still have no clue or update on the product. The executive on the line stated he would raise the priority to the highest level and would make sure an update was provided. Then I asked about the previous complaint raised on 23rd, whether that was not of the highest priority. He fumbled and said its been sent but there was no reply from the logistics department. I insisted him on canceling the order and he said he cant, since there should be a difference of 10 days period from the date of delivery and cancellation according to their idiotic trust pay policy.
Called them again on the 27th, they were still clueless about the location of the shipment. I asked the executive to immediately cancel the order, for which he obliged. He said I would have to wait for the product to return to them and will only then initiate the refund. They have some stupid policies and according to me are scammers. This is like dumping your money into a bank without any interest.
Never will I buy and product from snap deal !!!
