On the unfortunate day of 15th oct 2014 we ordered for a voltas water dispenser from snap deal.com. Too little did we know at that time of the impending troubles and hassles in this deal. On 20th of oct we receive a message saying the product is out for delivery.
We wait and wait and the delivery does not happen, when we get in touch with the courier partner he says he will deliver it by the next day.
Again a no show and no response, when spoken to they say you may cancel the order . after numerous calls to the call centre the product is finally delivered on 23rd oct.
in this process, whatever you save on the purchase gets actually spent on making numerous calls here and there.
Anyways after all this, i had thought it would actually end here but no. There is still more to come.
we use the water dispenser and it has a major leakage and water leaks and spills all over in my house, so here is the big bonus, after spending, 8500 rs, making numerous calls, and the wait we receive a damaged product on the occasion of Diwali.
still i kept my calm and requested for a replacement. And till today we are waiting for the delivery of the product. If we call the customer care they say it will be delivered by today, and if the delivery doesnt happen by today. You can call us tomorrow.
I asked them to give me assurance whether it will be delivered by today, they are saying wait. in this same week i have ordered two items from flipkart and had them delivered within a couple of days, but i am still waiting for the product. And **to add to the mockery of customers.
The breaking news is that the product is being shipped from Bangalore itself. A delivery of product from one area of Bangalore to another has taken so much time.** i am seriously tired and mentally exhausted after this deal with snapdeal. the mental tension that i am enduring still cant be expresed. I am still waiting for the product and there is no sign of it, and zero support from the customer care. I seriously regret my decision of ordering from snapdealif snapdeal has slightest concern left for the customers they should look into the matter
