I would like to give my experience with snapdeal on one of the item.
I have purchased the voucher for Parnika Fashions 30% discount on tailoring works where they did not give me discount and says that it is snapdeals responsibility and snapdeals says they cannot help.
I went to Parnika fashions and gave 3 items for tailoring total of Rs.900 where my discount is Rs300.
I want to check with parnika if the offer is valid for my tailoring works and they said it is valid, so I gave them the order and asked them if I need to give the voucher immediately or when making the payment.
They said that I can give it when taking the delivery(making payment). So I gave my items on 26th Jan and purchased the voucher on 27th and when to collect the things on 15th Feb. Now Parnika says that I purchased the voucher after giving the order and it is not valid.
On the voucher it is written it is valid until 4th march. So if they want us to purchase the voucher when ordered and not on payment then in the terms they should have mentioned that clearly.
When I informed Snapdeal they said merchant is right and I should give the voucher when I placed the order.
So just imagine guys, if that is the case why cannot I wait for 1 more day to give the order, anyway they said the delivery is only after 20days. so I can wait for 1 more day it is not a issue.
So in my case I don’t know how many agree but I feel I am cheated. Now I loose 300 and also Rs67 spent on the snapdeal voucher.
Initally when I contacted Snapdeal they said that I am correct that it should be fine to produce the voucher when making the payment until and unless it is not expired.
After 2 days snapdeal rep called me and said that the merchant is right and I am wrong, so they only don’t know what is correct and what is wrong.
When I called they said I am right and when they contacted merchant they are saying that merchant is correct.
So I don’t recommend Snapdeal.they are cheaters. They got my money anyway so now not to loose their money they are saying merchant is correct.Hate snapdeal.
If you like snapdeal be careful with the terms of the voucher and double check before buying it also.
Bottom line:
Snapdeal is useless in resolving customer problem, they prefer to support their merchants.
