Snapdeal has been a terrible shopping experience for me. I had ordered a Sheafer ink pen worth Rs. 3240(Order No. 3260635391) but was highly disappointed by the service, firstly by the late delivery and more importantly by the delivery of a broken and leaking pen.
I commenced the return process immediately by sending snapshots of the product as asked. In due course of time, my purchase was picked up by a snapdeal personnel.
However, a few days later I was informed that the replacement sent was lost in transit and the company would refund my money within a week or so.
All I received was a RRN number: 12847252 with no refund till date.
2 months, countless phone calls and 10 emails later, I am still to receive my money back. Each complaint call is met with the standard response- “We will forward your complaint to the concerned department and will get back to you within 48 hours”.
For snapdeal, those 48 hours have not yet ended till date. Ive been asked to send the snapshot of the product repeatedly which Ive done patiently each time.
However, I am currently losing patience for it seems that all my requests are falling on deaf ears. 48 hours have turned into weeks and now months.
Am I to assume that my 3240 rupees is gone for good and there is no amount of decent customer service that I can accept out of snapdeal anymore?
It’s really disappointing and frustrating when such a renowned company fails its customers in such a disgraceful manner! It makes one lose faith in the entire concept of online shopping!
