I will keep this review short.I’ve used some good offers from Snapdeal. The concept is good and well implemented.I’ve purchased discounts at hairstylists, and a pair anti pollution face masks before.
I have friends who have purchased shoes and watches through Snapdeal and are quite happy with their experience.
Since Snapdeal relies on Bluedart whose services are quite flaky, my experiences have also been moderated thanks to Bluedart.
Since most people I know tip the delivery guys, I would appreciate if Snapdeal could ask their partners at BD to call the customer before dispatching the product at their residence.
*Presently, I am still awaiting delivery of my order placed on 01 March.

The order was received and the product was substandard. I have already spoken with Snapdeal and they are sending me a box to return the product and they will process my refund.
I have also called the merchant and politely conveyed my disappointment in the product. The merchant was polite and professional. He said that he will not stock this product anymore and there will be no issues from his side during refund processing.
BOTTOMLINE:
Use Cash on Delivery only.
Buy what you are familiar with.
If you are purchasing a new unfamiliar product, don’t have too many expectations and don’t spend what you are not comfortable risking.
@Snapdeal: You need to talk to Bluedart about their professionalism and delivery timelines. Please consider other courier options. AFL, for instance, is quite good in Pune.
