Well just to add one more experience to the heap of complains about Snapdeal. I got driven away by an offer on Snapdeal and betrayed my favorite Flipkart to realize this.
First the offer didn’t work and I had to buy it on a higher price than it was on Flipkart(without offer) well when the money was out of my card and in their account and I was helpless they were tigers to roar on me. The wait started for the product(on Flipkart you order and the next time door bell rings you have the product, you don’t have to think that you’ve ordered something and when will it come) it’s been long since I ordered something I realized this when I received my card statement. What the hell I have paid for which I don’t have yet? So, you can imagine that they defy the credit logic because with credit card you spend and enjoy and pay later here you pay and still don’t it. Now when I checked the status "Product Dispatched"(Default status the very moment you pay, the status turns to "Product Dispatched" even if the stock is exhausted) well then starts the telephonic tug of war same old call center guys "Sir let me check the status, systems are bit slow", "The product is dispatched", "Please mail us at youarefooled@snapdeal.com bla bla then someday you see a courier name and id. I started calling then no one picks as the girls sitting there are busy pampering their boyfriends on office cost. Then you start getting calls from them sir are you at home? Yes I am well then be there at 6 pm sharp our guy would deliver a snapdeal product. Sure I’ll be there at 6 pm then at 6 you call them "Oh sorry sir we’ve closed our working today you’ll get it tomorrow morning ok and then from the courier a 4 km far from my house I got it delivered 3 days later(they even asked me to come and collect, stupids then what are you paid for?)
Now finally excited we opened and installed the cordless phone somehow reading the manual. Very good looking and beautiful cordless phone you can impress your neighbors and guest by that but make sure they don’t pick it to use else they’ll know that it’s a expensive electronic show piece you got Slapped from Snapdeal. You try to use the TRUSTPAY for refund and you are in a never ending argument in which from where you see and read the clauses you are right and how they read it they are right. Well you can go to court and spend some thousands bribing and few years till finally you win the case and realize that to win a refund of 2000/- you ended up with 5 years and 50, 000/-.
Friends please don’t even try this SLAPDEAL you have too much of money throw it out of your window(same thing). Flipkart cannot be compared and I don’t want to insult Flipkart by naming them with Snapdeal but still.
For online shopping prefer only FLIPKART rest all are fooling till they shut down like chit fund companies. Choice is yours, well after all money is yours and you better know how you earned.
