BEWARE of Snapdeal Diwali BUMPER SCAM by Employees

I have purchased one item this Diwali in October 2014 with full payment PAID from Snapdeal.com as its DIWALI BUMPER SALE was going on, the brand I trusted more than anyone.

Today one of Snapdeal’s Employee called me at 6:30 p.m. by giving my full identification, my full name, address, email, etc. from this Pn. No.:+919212413163 and told me that I have WON 1 Blackberry, 1 iPhone, 1 Apple Laptop as a Diwali Special Gift FREE which I have WON as purchase in 15 minutes Rush hour sale.

I became excited and felt more Lucky at that time. But when he said me for claiming that I have to register with them by paying a very small Registration fee of Rs. 6, 999 Online Only according to their their policy and after that they told me that they will dispatch my FREE GIFTS by then itself as interestingly my purchase item was still Unpacked and Not shipped at that time, I became stunned.

He(Snapdeal Employee) tried to convince me over and over again to grab the best offer even after I had rejected their offer. He said that Nobody would have missed that glorious opportunity of such BIG Gifts if someone else was there instead of me. He urged me to be Online immediately to pay that Registration fees which I have ignored immediately. Then he suddenly became rough with me and disconnected the call.

Tell me Is Rs. 6, 999 ONLY a small amount for anyone? If I have Won the Gifts for FREE then why I need to Pay for it? I think they take customer’s money by fooling them and saves it in Swiss Bank Accounts. Or Snapdeal is leaking /selling their customer’s information and privacy to some illegal organisations.

As, after that I tried to raise the same issue at Snapdeal Customer Care, their line was too busy at that time. I tried to call them for some more times but resulted the same. I also tried to raise the issue at their Social networking sites but all in vain. No body Dared to solve my issue or get back to me. I would strictly like to request to all customers out there, Please don’t try to accept these types of bogus offers by Snapdeal employees whoever is dealing with them this Diwali as I think personally that they are fooling their customers. Whoever deals with Snapdeal.com Diwali Offer might have to deal at your own risk.

Hi Kaushik, I sincerely apologize for the experience you had. This should not have happened. Please don't worry. I'll take this up and get it checked who called you. Please give me some time. I'll check and get back to you. Thanks! Mukti
