I heard that snapdeal offers lowest prices on watches and decided to check out their collection. I was actually impressed with their prices and I made an order but the item was not shipped for over 10 days. I emailed the customer support regarding this and they sent me a mail saying my order was canceled. I was angry and demanded an explanation on why it was canceled. Here is the reply I got:-

With reference to your email for cancellation of order placed with us, we would like to inform that Snapdeal always strives to provide accurate products, services and pricing information. But sometime due to typographical and other errors wrong price/wrong product information get updated on the website.
Since the wrong price updated on the website your order was cancelled.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused to you.
There you go. After this experience, I can’t help but think the whole low price ads by snapdeal is probably just a sham. They can offer low prices, build a brand but don’t have to keep their promise. Refund the amount and customer can’t complain anymore. Don’t trust any price listed in snapdeal website.
