I thought of purchasing a mobile phone and I searched on the internet for best offers.
Then I came across this website who is offering free Rebook sunglasses with a mobile purchase.
I was delighted to see that offer because price of mobile is almost similar in the market and I was getting free Rebook sunglasses.
I made up my mind to buy this product from snapdeal.com and I called them up to know the delivery time.(Delivery time mentioned on their website was 10-12 working days)
They told me that it will be delivered in 7 working days.
I made the purchase on 25 Aug 2011 and ordered it online(order id 159814550) and no cash on delivery was there so I paid the entire amount online.
But even after 7 working days I didn’t get my product, when I called there customer care they told me to wait for 12 working days.
Since then I called them every day to know the status but they were so unprofessional and uncooperative that they always gave me the same answer to wait for some more time and were not able to provide any realistic reason for delay.
Finally the product was delivered to me after 1 month of struggle and again a big surprise for me, the free gift was not there.
I immediately called the customer care and registered my complained and they told me that the Rebook sunglasses will be delivered in 5 working days. Complaint number was 52524.
I again called then several time but no meaningful answer from their side.
When I enquired about the delay reason they told me that it is out of stock and on pressing them further they told me that they give me a credit of Rs. 300 in my Snapdeal account in lieu of Rebook Sunglasses.
Can you believe it.Rebook Sunglasses for 300?
At that time I understood that Snapdeal is a fake company and they only give these duplicate offers to lure the customers.
I refused to take the Rs 300 credit offer because I didn’t want to buy anything again from Snapdeal.
It’s again a month now and I am still waiting for my free gift and every time they say me the same thing that it will be delivered soon.
I suggest all of you to never buy any product from Snapdeal.com.
It is a completely a fraud company with fake offers.
