Being an Arsenal supporter I think arsenal are a really good team and have a good balance through out there team. Over the last few years I really think arsenal have underachieved as a whole team. Wenger has brought in the right players but he has not applied them to the team properly. When Overmars and Petit left arsenal I was devastated because they were two really good players for the team and provided a lot of options. The arsenal players are:
DAVID SEAMAN
Age: 36

David Seaman for a long time has been the arsenal goalkeeper and also the England goalkeeper but he is getting quite old and has lost his pure quality that was obvious to see in 1998. He is still quite sharp and can save the majority of shots but has lacked a bit of real quality, which he had a few years ago.
ALEX MANINGER
Age: 23
International caps: 2
Alex Maninger is a real up and coming star of football. He is still very young and has a lot of learning to do but with the experience of David seaman by his side he can be a real quality player for the club in future years. He is very sharp and saves a lot of shots but is not to good in the air. When David seaman retires I think maninger will definitely be his replacement.
LEE DIXON
Age: 36

I think Lee Dixon is a really good right full back and is a very well motivated player. His experience is very valuable to arsenal when tony adams is out if the side and is usually the stand by captain. He might not be the fastest player in the world but he can still tackle and get stuck into the game.
SILVINHO
Age: 26
International caps: 3
I think Silvinho is a very good left full back and is very versatile because he can play anywhere along the left wing. He is a very fast player and when he scores goals they are usually very spectacular. He is not the tallest player in the world but the rest of his game makes up for that.
TONY ADAMS
Age: 33
International caps: 64/ 5 goals
Well what can I say…… Tony Adams has probably been one of the best arsenal players in the whole history of the club. He is so good at winning headers and tackling. Again hew is not the fastest footballer you’ll ever see but is very good in every other aspect of his game. His leadership and commitment show why he is first choice captain.
MARTIN KEOWN
Age: 33
International caps: 33/ 2 goals
Martin Keown is probably one of the fastest defenders in the premiership today. He is also good in the air and usually comes away with the ball. He is a very good at tackling and winning the ball back if it is lost.
RAY PARLOUR
Age: 27
International Caps: 7
Ray parlour is a very forceful player and always tries his hardest every game. He doesn’t stop running through out the game and doesn’t seem to get tired and he works so hard for the team. He is a very good battler and most of time comes out with the ball. He is more of an attacking midfielder than a defensive one. He also makes good runs forward to support the strikers.
PATRICK VEIERA
Age: 34
International Caps: 30
I think Patrick veiera is one of the best central midfielders in the world at the moment and he is still very young. He usually rules the centre of the park and has amazing skill and touch. I do think he seems a bit lost without Petit anymore but overall he is playing well. He is more of a dominator than a flairy player but still creates a lot of chances for the attackers.
LAUREN BISAN-ETANE
Age: 23
International Caps: 6/1 goal
I don’t think Lauren has proved himself in the English game yet and still could do with some improvements. His work rate is quite good though and also fights hard for the ball but doesn’t come out with the ball most of the time. I think he is more attacking then defending which in a good sense is O.K but overall he needs to get fitter and work on his game.
ROBERT PIRES
Age: 27

I think Robert pires can be outstanding gat times like against lazio in the champions league away. He is not the fastest player you will ever see on a football pitch but he has got a lot of skill. He doesn’t track back that often either which leaves the left sided defender open and usually two on one.
THIERRY HENRY
Age: 22
International Caps: 21/3goals
At the start of the season Thierry Henry played outstandingly well but has started to lose form recently. He is very strong on the ball and finishes well under pressure. He is a very fast player and often beats players to the ball and beats them one on one too. I think he is top class but needs to pick up form.
DENNIS BERGKAMP
Age: 31
International Caps: 79/38 goals
Dennis Bergkamp is retired from international football now but when he played for Holland he was outstanding every match and the goal he scored against argentina in the world cup was very special. He is not a very strong player but he can put himself around a bit once he is on the field. His touch is immaculate and he hardly looses control of the ball. His passing is brilliant and his shooting is very good too.

I think that arsene wenger is a great manager and knows what he is doing most of the time. His tactics are very good and he usually puts out the right team to do the job. He has brought into the club some very good players but has sold some of the more quality one for very good prices. I think he should use the money he has received from the transfers of Overmars and Petit to bring in some world class talent.
Overall I think arsenal need to play better in order to gain the success they need and probably deserve.
