The food is great and the menu was superb as well. They offer traditional speciality dishes and drinks. The vada pav is my favourite It is a very good combination of the traditional Irani Cafe feeling and a Modern Leopold type of a pub. The Irani Chai is very well brewed and the Masala Sandwich is a solid Mumbai style sandwich.
I gave it a visit on a winter Sunday afternoon. The place was completely packed and why wont it be. Anyway, we had to wait for a bit before we could get our table but finally as we sat and looked around, the ambience will make you feel like you are sitting in a Bollywood themed Mumbai cafe.
The cuisine being Parsi, we weren’t sure at first if the food will fit our taste buds but it turned out to be way too delicious. We ordered their signature Vada pav, Eggs Kejriwal and Vegetable Cutlets. We also ordered Irani special chai and Parsi choy as it seemed to be the perfect combination for food like this plus it’s is winter, so a hot beverage is a must.
Prices are good to justify each and every penny spent. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The price is also affordable. I would like to visit the place again to try out their new non-veg dishes.
