We were just passing by this place on Sunday 26th December and saw the banner which said Crab Festival. Had been long since I had a crab at a Resto, so got in the mood and went there yesterday but the festival was over on the 25th December. Asked them for a Crab, he showed me and asked for the rate which he quoted was Rs 1200/=, I have been to many places Sheetal at Khar, Mahesh Lunch Home, Bharat at Fort but this rate for the crab seemed to be pricey. They can quote you whatever they please but since we had planned so did not want to back out ( If you are around 4 people then the costing doesnt matter, but for a couple it is bit exorbitant). We asked for Butter Garlic Sauce.
My child wanted to have Chinese ( he is just 3 years and loves chinese ) so we ordered a Chicken Fried Rice with Chilly Chicken Gravy ( less spicy ), we took to drinks one was Daniela and the other was Blue Breeze ( they both were good but the glass was too small ). The Chinese was great with the taste. Crab arrived was great in taste the sauce however was very less, we went for Makai ki roti ( it was good but it was quite thin, couldnt make out the taste as at home we relish the little thick roti ) , Butter Roti, and tried Missi Roti ( this was too good ). We asked for little extra sauce but were politely refused ( I asked as at sheetal we used to get the green sauce ). The ambiance was good, the service was good and they were very polite ( Dayanand ) the food was good but I always feel the items whose price are not mentioned on the menu are always debatable ( but we do not have a choice as when you are out you cannot upset your plan).
In all I recommend this place to you all. It is worth a repeat and would definetly go for the Buffet.
