Hello friend , I had visited sonamarg in 2013 in kashmir. we heard it was the one of the best place to visit in kashmir i.e we visited . we went there in the month of september , in that month ther e was a limited stock of snow in top of mountains and saw after travelling 5-6 km by foot.
The worst thing about that place was guides over there . they make’s a fool of tourists by charging extra money in thousands. they stopped us and said you can’t go with your own car and forced to hire a car at fixed rates.
we went there for doing skinning and watch some snowfall but in the month of september there was nothing but only nature was good there.
so, I recommend everyone not to go in the month of september. but if you really wanted to visit then visit in the month of november and december.
