Myself Chaitali and today I am going to discuss about my personal experience regarding the " SONILEX MP 16 MP3 PLAYER ", Which I bot around one month ago from an online shopping portal.
First things first, The product box pack only contains only the mp3 player and only one USB charging cable. Nothing else, no headphone, no user guide, no driver CD. It doesn’t even have inbuilt memory, you need to buy external memory card for this mp3 player. And the price for this product is 950 rupees, which is very very high for a product like this with less amount of features it has got. So at first look I was very unhappy, and they don’t even mention the list of things which you get once you purchase this mp3 player.
Now the second most bad thing about the mp3 player, The QUALITY. The plastic quality used is very poor and if you put your finger forcefully it bends and makes noise like it will break. So you need to take care while using this mp3 player because it can break any moment. This mp3 player is available in only two colors, Blue and black, so not much of option while buying.
The look is very simple. its copied from the apple shuffle ipod. The size is very small and has got clip behind for clipping with dress which is very risky and the mp3 player and go down easily. The look is very basic and old looking. No design or graphics is their to make it more attractive. So from out look this mp3 player is so so. I will give one out of ten for looks and design.
Now the most important points, It does not have screen. So you don’t have the option for video only mp3 it can play, no other file formats are supported. So this is very difficult for the users. No wi fi, USB to USB. No camera, No internet. So it is very less functioned and less handy mp3 player I have ever saw. The buttons are not very stable. It hard and takes a lot while operating. Only one headphone jack is their. No lock is available. so its very difficult while doing exercise Now it took almost eight hours to fully charge this mp3 player. which is very high and after charging it lasted for only three hours and I only listened fifteen songs. The battery is very bad. Its not at all user friendly. Don’t have much options for you.
The customer service is very bad for this company. As they only give three months onsite warranty. As I used this mp3 player I had a problem with sound, The quality of the sound is very low and it is not clear so I though I should exchange this product. and I tried to call the customer service support but the line was bust every time tried. and it took me four long days to contact them, but they said the product which is given to me is tested and they cant exchange this product and no warranty for quality is giver by the company. So I was disappointed and had to keep the product. So guys if you are planning to buy a mp3 player please don’t buy this product from this company, its is very bad. And the price is very high.
