With a pair of Fashion Week events going on here in downtown Los Angeles, I ended up shooting around 3000 frames on one charge over the past three days. That’s on an A200. I had the second battery in the vertical grip, but the camera never even got to the point where it flipped over.
Granted, it wasn’t particularly taxing shooting for the camera - manual, continuous focus but not much seeking, no flash, RAW - but I was still impressed. I think I ended last night with 6% charge.
