I had high expectations when I bought the Sony Bravia KDL-32W600A, mainly because Sony is known for its quality and brand reputation. Unfortunately, my experience with this TV has been quite disappointing.
To start with, the picture quality is average at best. It doesnt feel like the HD experience that was advertised. The colors look dull, and the blacks are not deep at all. Watching movies or sports just doesnt feel immersive, especially in low-light settings.
The sound quality is another major letdown. It feels hollow and lacks clarity, especially when watching dialogues. I had to connect external speakers just to make it bearable, which defeats the purpose of buying a TV with supposedly good in-built sound.
On the software side, the interface is outdated and sluggish. Navigating between apps is slow, and many modern streaming apps arent supported. For a smart TV, it doesnt feel smart at all.
To make things worse, the TV started showing issues within a year random restarts and screen freezing. When I contacted customer support, the response was slow and not helpful. The repair cost quoted was almost half the price of the TV!
Overall, I feel this model is overpriced for the features it offers and doesnt meet the expectations youd have from a Sony product. There are better and more affordable alternatives in the market today. I regret choosing this model and would not recommend it.
