I bought this TV with assumption that Sony is best out of available brands and do not think even twice before making a purchase. I followed the same and went for buying it from Hypercity Bangalore in month of Aug 2013.
It ran good for 27 days and one fine day, it goes off and never starts again. It was a big surprised and shock for us. Called Sony center and engineer came to test it. Reason found was electrical circuit failure.
Now the calling cycle starts for me to call center, one officer to another and so on. After many many days (sad and worrisome), finally Sony replaced my faulty product with a new one. This maed everyone happy.
Now coming to Review:
Overall, this is a great product (minus the issue that I have faced).
PROS:
Colors.
Power Consumption (Run on Inverter easily).
Light Weight.
Great connectivity for USB and HDMI.
HD content really good as if we are watching them in Cinema hall.
Sound quality is ok.
CONS:
It goes off automatically still (Some time). I think this is due to voltage fluctuation.
Sound quality is just average.
Help menu is not very interactive.
This is expensive as compare to other 3D models in 42 inch size.
Built in application are really in few numbers.
Not 4G ready (4G dongle do not work).
Overall, I am satisfied with Sony for now.
