I have purchased recently Sony Bravia. The picture quality is fantastic with deep blacks and great color. Very sharp picture detail. I use this for cable, movies, video games, and a PC monitor. Gaming: if you play video games this is the BEST tv for ps4 in particular! You can hit a button and convert 2d games to 3d and it adds a whole new dimension.
Sound: As in many HDTVs the sound is in no way going to be great but that is why we have soundbars and external speakers
