Good pick if you can pay extra penny for quality

This is for KLV 32EX520. Product is not available in the list. After lot of browsing and showroom visits I finally decided to buy Sony Bravia 32" TV.

Reason for deciding on Sony bravia:

  1. Sony was always high priced than LG, Samsung and others. Surprise!!! LCD and LED is in the same price range of others.

  2. I have used Sony, Samsung and Nokia electronic gadgets and impressed with sony products and servicing.

  3. I love Sony.

LED or LCD? / HD Ready or FULL HD?

These are the two factors you need to decide on before buying.

Full HD Vs HD Ready.

-Full HD : 2 Mega Pixel

-HD Ready: 1 Mega Pixel

  1. There is no DTH provider broadcasting with 2MP.

  2. There are only few HD channels available, we get it for extra cost.

  3. You cannot make difference in LCD with airtel/cable connection.

  4. In LED a little more clarity can be seen. Picture is more real in LED Full HD than LED HD Ready.

LED Vs LCD

Advantages of LED

  1. LED consumes less power.

  2. More life. LCD - 10 Yrs and LED - 12 Yrs. But do we really use the same TV for 10 Yrs?

  3. Slim. For me LCD is just few cms more thick.

  4. Internet. Do we really use that feature?

Advantages of LCD

  1. We get the same(or more) features for atleast Rs 10, 000 less.

  2. In LCD version any format can be played from USB. LED USB plays only few formats.

  3. FM.

I recommend KLV 32EX520 for its picture and and sound quality.

Note: Please download brochure from sony.co.in and compare the features before buying.

Tip: Buy Full HD if you use DTH not Cable. Buy LED if you can spend Rs10, 000 extra for LED.
