Whats in a name? there is . for the brand name counts. Sony S600 lives up to the brand name sony.
the picture qulaity and resolution are very good thanks to the Carl zeiss lens which is world famous . the resolution is 6 megapixel which is very good for ther price. So even if u enlarge the photos it wont pixelate.
the camera S600 has 3 x optical zoom and 3x smart zoom. sony claims this smart zoom is better than digital zoom .
the flash is excellent compared to other cameras in its price range especially the range . one completely dark room more than 12 ft is captured with this flash .
it has 32 mb internal memory . u need to buy card though if u want to take more pics .
and above all its a compact camera . easily slips into ur pocket or handbag.
the cons are it does not have too many advanced features .but very good for usual use for the average homer user .
