SONY... RULES!!!!

SONY. Like.no.other.

That’s it, End of story. Nothing else comes close. People should start thinking

as to why Samsungs or LGs and other brands cost less... it’s

cuz they’re crap. They

only want to sell more and make money with no or very little commitment to the

product they are making.

Anyway, about this Sony... It’s a DRC WEGA, model no. KV-DZ 29. it’s multi HD. So it can display all HD

resolutions (up to 1080i). Though it doesn’t have an HDMI, the HD signal can be

viewed through component video inputs of which this TV has 2.

There are only 2 other decent brands offering CRT HD in India... Panasonic and Philips. Both cost around 30k. But the Sony costs a bit more

BECAUSE it has a magic chip called DRC MF. It basically means a progressive scan... which greatly improves video quality for fast moving images (movies, sport etc). Sony has more experience than any other brand at making high quality TVs with spectacular image quality, so the picture quality on this very new TV is

basically unmatched. It also has a 100Hz scan option which is basically very easy on the eye.

The HD feature basically means it’s future proof. I can connect blue ray players or PS3 or any other HD device and enjoy HD picture... for those who aren’t familiar with HD, just google it... It’s a revolution. The difference is nothing short of mind blowing.

The TV also has a widescreen mode. So instead of stretching any wide screen reception to 4:3 aspect ratio, screen converts to 16:9. There is also an auto switch option which can detect and switch to a 16:9 screen automatically.

The sound is quite good if you set the equalizer right... The surround features

aren’t just eyewash unlike in other brands. They really work... and the low

frequency sounds are very respectable for a TV Speaker.

Well moving on to the LCD craze, its actually accepted world over by experts

that the CRTs produce much more natural color than the LCDs or plasmas. The

black levels are excellent... so there. I just got this set with a Sony home

theatre... if you are in doubt about what TV to buy, or confused you can mail

me at carthikv12@gmail.com I’ll most probably write back to you the same day...

Good luck!
