Hi, All. This is my first review. Though I am late in giving my review for the product, I just wanted to start with one. I had bought Sony Ericsson K508i some 1.5 years back. I bought this phone after reviewing through mouthshut. I liked the technical specifications and it’s value of money. The phone is good in Sound Quality and Camera Photo Quality compared to the other phones. However due to low memory storage, I just added some music part abstracted from songs and set as ringtones. About the Camera, I must say, the brightness and contrast quality are the best.
However, the bad part of the phone after much use was the joystick and the phone calls list. The joystick gets sticks many times now and I find it difficult to surt the menus. I had to surf the menus with the key numbers. I have now decided not to buy the next phone which has the joystick. Regarding the phone call lists, even after storing the numbers in the contacts list, it didn’t showed the name during the incoming or outgoing calls. I think, this may be due to the storage capacity of total contacts or numbers.
Other than this, there is no other issue regarding this phone. The body of the phone is good. Even after dropping down many times, the phone was not disparted even single time. I have seen in some other phones where the battery may get out after dropping from some height.
In a nutshell, the phone is a good value for money excluding the joystick part.
