I have been using Sony Ericsson K750i since 2 years and its a great cell phone. When I planned to go for a new phone, my first priority was Music Quality. After going through lot of phones I decided to go for k750i.
Read the complete review to get all details. I will keep it brief. The basic functions like making calls, receiving calls etc are very easy.
One thing which was desired is to have an option of ’loudspeaker’ when receiving a call. The format of contacts storage is excellent. You can store multiple nos, email addresses, webpages and even their birth dates. So you don’t have to keep a separate reminders for birth dates for your loved ones.
The reception and sound calrity is great. There are separate volume control buttons given on the right ide border of the phone. The keys are well placed. Sony has tried to minimise the no of buttons. After using the phone for 2 years now the middle button (navigational key) sometimes gets stuck and does not respond. But it fine now. The best of it is the music quality. People who are looking for great music quality, this is for you.
You can create playlist according to your listening moods, set equalizer, shuffle. One negative here is the low volume of its built in speaker, though its very clear in quality. There is specific music button to play/pause the music. It supports mp3, 3gp (video) and aac formats.
It has a 2.0 mp camera which is great and really easy to use . Got a nice thing to click just slide the back of the phone and shoot. It also has a Flash light for camera which could also be used as torch when needed. The camera has addistional features like Self Timer, Different picture modes like B & W, negative effect, sepia etc, burst mode for multiple shots at a single click
The battery life is also good which can last upto 3 days once fully charged. Amazingly, it only takes an hour to get fully charged. It also has features like GPRS, MMS, BLuetooth, Picture message etc
The most annoying thing about this phone is removing and inserting SIM card, but you don’t do it daily....so thats ok. The charging and earphone slot has to be cleaned atleast once in 2 months otherwise it doesn’t connect properly.
Considering all of the above features its very reasonable at Rs 7300/-
