It has been over a year since I bought my SE K300i cellphone. Till date, I am in love with the looks. In fact, that was one mail reason, and I simply thought other features should be okay atleast. Nothing can go terribly bad. After all, I had been with Nokia entry-level phones till then and did not realize that cellphones can have other problems too!
Well, here are some things I did not like in the features. One thing is that the camera is not too good. You cannot capture more than a passport-size photo with this. That besides, you only have IR on the phone. I had a tough time transferring my pics to my laptop since I had to first transfer it via IR to my friend’s cellphone and then transfer it via Bluetooth. Probably there were simpler options, but this was the circuitous path that I used to take.
Battery life is awesome to say the least. It easily comes for 3 days atleast.
Now, let me come to the problems that I had faced till now. One month after I had purchased it, I had dropped it from a low height.Not more than a feet, I believe. Nothing apparently went wrong unless I tried charging my battery. I realized that a glass-connector was broken as a result of which my cellphone cannot be charged. Had to get it replaced.
I did not have problems till six months back. When I started having recurring problems wherein the person on the other side was never able to listen to my voice, when all was okay from my end. Took it to the customer care.He could not help in anyway.However he charged 250 for consultation!(15 minutes)
The problem became permanent for sometime, and after a couple of weeks got cured.Now, in the past one month, it has started getting the same problem. I dont understand what the freaking problem is at all. I dont care about getting it back to the service center guys.No option than to throw it away.
