I bought this cell a week ago. What attracted me the most was its form factor- a very cute and trendy finish and only 14mm thick. I have used my cell for 1 week and here are the major features
>> 2 mega pixel camera which matches my sony digicam photos for the outdoor photos
>> Music player which matches the SE walkman series ( same clarity as my previous cell W550i,
but I am using my old walkman type headhpnes, which are more superior to the other headphones)
>> Picture blogging which no walkmans supports
>> Almost 73mb internal + 64mb external memory = 135 mb total usable memory
>> very fast compared to my previous cell W550i.
>> TFD display instead of TFT used , which for me has more clarity especially outside the room and uses less power than TFT
>> a very useful flight mode which gives all the features except the transciever & bluetooth turned off
>> only 85 gms compared to all walkmans which are 99gms
>> support for EDGE which provides 3 times as fast data transer compared to GPRS
>> Track ID recognition which records a track and sends it to find the info.
>> Battery life ok , giving 2 -3 days
Thus I dont agree to the hype now spreading that K550i is actually the old K750i with slight modifications. For me it is not..... The whole design has been changed and many features have been added which the K750i doesnt have. The notable features are the Slim design, EDGE support and the M2 card instead of the memory stick duo in K750i. Also K550i has stereo widening which has a good effect when listening with the headphones.
So to sum up in a sentence, K550i is a good, speedy and cute cell + a very handy digicam with a very low budget and a medium range product in pricing...................
Cheers to SE for bringing out such a beauty.
