SE K700i Full Review. - Value For Money. Amazing!

I was using Sony K700i earlier, and I still don’t know why I sold it off and bought a Nokia 6600. It is one big mistakes I ever made. Well as for Sony k700i, it is an amazing phone, the features ranging from Bluetooth to remote connectivity with your computer. It is the best buy. The phone is very user friendly and easy to understand as all the other Sony Ericson models. As after using a Nokia mobile and testing out others, I am proudly Anti-Nokia and very very much Pro-Sony!

Camera: the phone comes with a camera equivalent to a 1.3 mega pixel camera in other phones, only difference this is a vga camera. The camera gives good performance during day time but night shots are terribly poor. The camera has a flashlight, it’s more like a strong light which you can switch on during indoor shots or close ups. The light is pretty strong and is an overall advantage. It can also be used as a torch. There are templates in the camera mode like Baby, Wanted, Astronaut, Etc, it’s a great feature. Gives you a chance to have fun with your powerful camera. Other Features like panorama, Sepia, black & white are also available. Totally making it a camera phone!

Sound: The phones multimedia features give you a wide variety to select from. The phone has an inbuilt Mp3 player and a radio. The Sound quality is AMAZING! I mean it loud enough to wake you up from a deep deep sleep. The speaker of the phone is above all. Sony has proved to be more of a mobile walkman with its supremacy in sound systems. You can load your own mp3’s through Bluetooth/IRD/Data Cable. And listen to your music while you’re on the move.

Imaging: Imaging proves to be average. The gallery viewing is pretty normal. But the screen is Awesome! 65K Screen Gives you a first hand experience of a life full of colors.

Connectivity: this phone is loaded when it comes to connectivity. From Bluetooth to IRD to Data Cable, it provides you total connectivity. With features like Remote, it allows you to control your computer with your cell phone. Which is just simply amazing, I used to control my whole system with it. Open Close applications, Volume Up n Down, Switch Off, Standby and various other numerous software controls, from VLC Media Player to PowerPoint Presentations, There is an HID for every application ever made. I rate it excellent!

Vide Recording: Video recording is excellent. Unlimited video recording! WHAT MORE? Awesome resolution!

Interface: the interface is very user friendly and proves to be great in its class. Supporting a 65K Screen the colors are flourished with life. With the ability to load 3D Themes you can bring new life to your mobiling. Screen is amazing...every Smallest pixel is displayed. With a simple menu you can skip and hop from anywhere to everywhere.

Memory: Well memory proves to be a disadvantage. Otherwise this would have been a complete phone. The phone only comes with a memory of 40 MB, but to be honest I have never ran out of memory. If you’re out to use this phone as a mp3 player, you should look somewhere else. I had around 3 ring tones all mp3’s at a bit rate of 256 KBPS, many many pictures and videos. Of course Games too and still I had ample amount of space to fill in the rest of the world.

Games : Supporting Java Files this phones gives you a first hand experience at gaming. You can load your own games or play some of the pre loaded 3d games. Games are excellent on this phone!

Battery Life: Battery life has disappointed me as the talk time on this phone is very less. Batter needs a recharge every 2 days or sometimes everyday. I don’t know if it was a piece defect or whatever but it lasted me long enough for the day. Never had a moment where I was caught up with a powerless cell phone.

FINAL WORD: Great phone! Great buy! Superb Performance! Short Battery Life! Not a mp3 Player! Great Photos!
