As our past in the mobile revolution has shown that though sony ericcson offers products at a cheaper price with more feature and still they suck..why..well you know it. Alll sony ericsson users know it..whether they admit or not thats a different thing.
P990i is no different, I was using a a P910i and beleive me I had been through hell using it and please dont dare to ask about the SE Authorized service center @ least in bangalore it sucks..
So here we are with another SE product that his high on tech specs but still to catchp up human technology..though I used to love the huge touchscreen with good resolution on my p910 I it was horrible to use.. the buttons dont feel right..the tactile feel is like a cheap phone ( I previously owned a T 610 in 2004 and a K 750i also) and the panel gets scrathched so easily dont ask man..SE sucks..everything about SE..leave sony remember ericcson..mobile well you got it !! enjoy
Okay Guys Lemme give you somethid more to prove what a lemon SE 990i is though I used it for quite some time. I sold it and bought a M 600i iam using it and will let you know about it..
okay so please find the re review with the details for all the skeptics (LOL)
Its very big and heavy (yeah it is, own one to know, actually it tore of my nautica shirt pocket when I was riding on my Tbird)
Same Silver finishing and guess what the same old kepad from p900 ( well almost, gimme a break)
smaller screen size then the p 910i of course, Every P910i user will miss the BIG screen)
Well Keyboard still sucks ( I dont beleive you if you say you use the qwerty keyboard) they should bundle it with a wireless keyboard for that price)
SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWww Slow performance on application which you are never going to use, just dont talk about touchscreen games ( they suck on this) P 910i was faster.
Ohhhhhh and the battery life ( well if you are habituated to taking photographs and listening to mp3 on your nokia phone forget about this phone..the battery capaity though high conks out sooner a lot sooner ( trust me on this)
The bugs of course. (software bugs that is) the phone feezes quite often on apps and of course the internet browser ( try using GPRS on this and then you will know) Applications dont close you will have to use the task manager LOL frequently
Dated UI (UIQ 3 though and the first phone with UIQ3 LOL)
okay and I want to see how many of you use it for viewing excel files or any office file leave alone editing on it LOL
If you have ever used Wi FI, you will know the performance on this phone sucks
Ancient Stuff LOL again, please pardon I cant help it really, if you think iam nuts, I have no doubt cos I bought this piece of crap.
HIGH PRICE of course, I was a fool to spend a months salary on this, other wiese you will have to pull moolah out of your a$$ to buy this.
My dear ladies, you cant use this. A fact complicated on the grey cells.. the UI will make you to pull your hair and comb it often (LOL again)
Very small amount of C: mem, so you will need @leat 1 gb of mem card if you want to use the applications that you are never going to use and also game that you are never going to play.
I cannot use the vidoe call camera in from for pics..bit of a lowdown for the price..

Try using the DATA cable, please do then you will realise that it wont recognise your phone and data transfer please dont ask its not USB 2 !! so get yourself a card reader its better trust me I am doing a favour.
