Some people are so stuck up with established trands that they cannot get the hang of anything else. No its not me, its my friends instead . Many didnt like my departure from the old and trusted Nokia 5110 to the new Sony Ericsson T-100 and I didnt like their attitude.
Anyways, I agree with most reviews on this site when they say that this phone is cool in looks and funky in styling n yeah, a great phone for college goers. As for me I am a 22 year old college goer from Lucknow but many of my pals carry sleeker and more expensive phones. Listen, Hey, budget matters something or not ? This is the best phone in this price range and I guess nobody can ask for anything better. I mean what else can u get for 5.5K with papers, whoa, so have a whale of a time.
As for the features, we’ll talk about it later. First the first impression :- I have no words, man. Too coool. I got a white set, not the icy blue one like most others, but I preferred it over blue and gold, go ahead ur choice. Sexy by the day and sexier by the night, nothing beats the nice shimmer of this set. Also its small size and negligible weight are definite plus points. Unlike most others, I kinda like the organisation of the keys, they are decently spaced and as it is, nobody writes very long text messages, whatever the set is.
The features are pretty commonplace, menu is easy but the shortcuts take time to know, and without them u’ll have to navigate so many options tht u’ll be intersted only if this is ur first set. The reception is excellent ( I can listen even in my car with all the windows rolled up) but my individual problem is tht my service provider (Essar) has a weak network. Anyways, make full use of the group messaging, alarm, organizer n the best of all, picture messages. Unfortunately, downloadable content is available only on phoneytunes.com and sonyericsson.com and u bet, thts not enough ( told u, Nokia rules !!)
So, if u r looking for an entry level phone tht looks expensive and u r not bothered about fancy features like MMS (anyways, u cant use it in Lucknow) then sure go for it. The battery is excellent, it lasts and lasts, jus recharge for 2 hours and use for 3 days. Best wishes to u all, enjoy !
