I bought this phone around 2 years back because it seemed relatively cheaper than its Nokia counterparts. I was more or less happy with it for about a month when I realised that it’s not really a fun phone. I mean sure it has colour screen and all but u get bored of it eventually. Also it’s not really easy to maintain. if u drop it even once, a crack is formed, and it gets dirty between the screen and the outer plastic. Since Nokia has created almost a monopoly in mumbai there are barely 2-3 sony ericsson shops in the entire city. I dunno where these shops are so I cant even go there to clean it up. and even then how many times will u go to a shop just to get ur screen cleaned up. and by the way if u’re into electronics and all lemme warn u , u cant just unscrew the thing urself and clean it. the outer sheild or whatever it is GLUED on to the phone so it’s no child’s play openin this thing up. only good thing about this phone is it dint give up on me during the floods even though it was completely wet. Bottom line is that this a phone for those who use phones just for talking. this is not really a fun - phone unless u have gprs and half of the time u cant download anything from any place other than the sony ericsson site. it’s a cheap make. so think twice before u invest ur money in this.
