Lacks features, bad network problem

Hello all,

Sharing with you all, the experience I had with Sony Ericsson T230 cellphone.

I had bought this cellphone last year, sometime in May. That time, to me, it looked a cool cell - polyphonic ring tones, colour display and the like. Also, some of my friends had got the very same cell and, frankly, I used to be quite jealous of them when they were flaunting it.

But it seems to me now, that it was like the saying ’’the grass is greener on the other side’’. Initially, after having bought the cell, I was very happy. But as time passed, I began to realise the various shortcomings in the cell. For one, the display was absolutely useless, when seen in sunlight. Secondly, the ring volume of the phone was too less (I was hardly able to hear the ring most of the times, that too on full volume!). Third, and most important, the network was not coming properly on the cell. And it was singularly a problem with my cell - all the other people nearby didnt have any problem at all with respect to the network, only I did! It was frustrating. On top of all this, the buttons were not really proper to touch. I had to press the buttons really hard to type the keys. Admittedly, the phone had some good new features like voice recording, GPRS, tri band, etc. But it failed in the basic functionality of a phone - offering troublesome network connectivity. That is the reason, why I would not suggest buying this cell to anyone.

regards,

Tushar.
