First of all I’ve been using Sony Ericsson T68i phone from last one year!
And I have not seen a single problem while using it since then.
I’ll go brief with its technical aspects!!
It is truly a world phone with support for gsm 1900, 1800, 900 phone.
GPRS compatible ! I have not seen any other phone that is so much user friendly as far as functionality goes.
i am not sure about WTLS!
WAP Browser is kinda okay! Most of the sites are supported. But there is no xHTML browser.
Screen is a 256 color that means most of the pictures are dull.
Regarding the connectivity with the PC it has everything Cable, IRDA, Bluetooth.
It has an inbuilt email client which supports pop, smtp email.
It also has external camera support with 640X480 resolution.
It has the 500 contacts memory, 50 sms memory for SMS.
As far as style goes this is the best looking phone of the lot. It even stands apart in the modern phones. But some people say that this is the girlish looking phone! but I dont mind it looking at its features.
And regarding my experience with the phone since one year!!
I get the talk time of nearly 5 hrs which completely suffices my everyday calls.
Ringtones are mono phonic but that is none of the concerns to me because vibrator is very nice!
I use the BPL Mobile GPRS in bombay to connect my PC to the internet. The speed comes to around 6 kBps this is better than my dial up (which gave me the 4kBps speed).
Call conferencing feature is of very high level. I can talk to as many as 5 people at the same time and if I feel that one of the five persons is not needed in the conference then I can disconnect the particular individual. this feature I havent seen in any of the nokias motorolas etc..
One very tiny feature is the slider provided at the side of the phone by using which I can end the incoming call without taking the phone out of my jeans! Coool!!
Using five way joystick I can access whole phone features using single Joystick!
Using the bluetooth I can exchange the photos with the other SE Phones and the modern day Nokia phones like 6600.
My phone won’t let me down be it any area!
As far as the price goes it is still available in mumbai for 7 grands
