I’m using this w550i from almost last 2 yrs. Un doubtly, this phone is having maximum sound clarity among all other phones. I’m talikng about other Sony ericsson phones. Forget about other brands. It has 3 in built speakers. Even if I forget to take my car deck, no problem. I get the same sound effect after I play a song on this cell. Dedicated music buttons add to my joy. I think all the True music lovers should have this phone. I agree memory is a problem ( 256 MB only). But you can place most favourite music on this phone intelligently. 256 MB = 60 songs approx. which I feel OK for me.
The after sales service of Sony Ericsson is pretty BAD. The company has given frenchise to some local shops among diff. locations and they are just "Authosized Service Providers". That means any one like you and me can open a mobile repair shop and get this label which is horrible.
Hence, ones there is any problem with your hand set, you have a very little hope. Only till the warreny is over they treat you like customer. They don’t have any processes any knowledge. You have to relay on their mercy for the service and delivery of your phone.
The design of this w550i is good and features are quite userfriendly excpet some Internet setting. Also there are n number os features. I’m still discovering small small new features in it. It would be great if w550i has clamshell design which is my favourite.
Overall it a MUST HAVE for music lovers.
