Few days back I had to visit Sony Ericsson service center at Surat. My Sony Ericsson W 300i instrument was malfunctioning.
Screen display goes white/blank when the flap is open or close. This was happening occasionally. The problem was noticed after transferring some data through blue tooth. So I thought it was infected with virus.
I went to S. P.connetcting8 at Turning point, which is the authorized service center of Sony Ericsson. Just listen my conversation with them : akp1966 : Boss I feel my instrument W 300 I is infected with virus.Screen display goes blank sometimes when I open the flap. I want virus scan of the instrument Service Provider : No answer
akp1966 : Excuse me R U listening ? I want to do virus scan of the instrument it is giving problem of screen display goes blank sometimes Service Provider : Its not virus problem. akp1966 : Then what is the problem. Service Provider : Cant tell. Need to check
akp1966 : Pls check & register it as a complaint. Service Provider : Dont have time now. You have to keep the phone here. akp1966 : No problem. Keep it.Service Provider : Is it in Warranty ?
akp1966 : NoService Provider : Then you have to pay akp1966 : When I said I am not going to pay ? Service Provider : Cant tell the amount. Will inform latter akp1966 : Its fine.
While the guy at service center was lodging my complaint another customer came. Listen again their conversation:
Customer : I want to change the body of this instrument
Service Provider : Looking at the instrument "We dont have"
Customer : Can you pls arrange. I can enquire after few days
Service Provider : Will try but cant say it will be available
Customer : What will be the approximate price ?
Service Provider : Dont know
Customer : When Can I enquire ?
Service Provider : Visit here after 4/5 days.
I am really surprised at the behavior of the staff. The problem of my instrument was repaired & I am satisfied with it except the behavior.
