I own a black w580i for almost 5/6 months, I like it. First , its performance is decent and the music player is very good. The bass is good, music is rich and crystal clear in "bass" preset, the "mega bass" preset decrease mid/high frequencies.
The display is amazing, very good contrast ratio and brightness, and crystal clear. being small and 340*240 resolution, its pixel pitch is small.
We can customize it into big limits. you can add flash menus( menus appears in ’Spinnin, splat’ etc themes), change the ’gfx’ like the battery charge display, signal display, bluetooth, headphone, volume bar, lock icon, and all other icons. you can add more skins to your Walkman 2.0 player, can add more visualization, can change numbers, change radio skin, and meny more, and you can also change the mobile’s fonts( both letters and numbers). that is very funny, and nice.
The battery life is good, I got 3 days in my w580 by setting its brightness to 50%.
The phone support Flash lite 1.1 not 2.0 but it is very good and fast.
The phone can display high resolution images (high dpi). a lot of nokia’s will show "Not memory" in high res images, including N73.
The camera is good, 2MP camera gives very very nice colour reproduntion, contrast at high& day light. But the zoom is only 2.5x and at low light , you can’t capture anything. and also no flash.
The phone is very compact, can suitable in any tight pant pockets. and a little heavy, shows it is pretty.
It also support high res jar games like ’3D solid weapon, 4x4 extreme rally, assassins creed, juiced 2, Rally master, Stalker, and sims2 (buntled). and apps also.
The pedo meter is funny, but a stuppid function. I don’t like to use it.
and it have 11Mb inernal memory and 1GB M2 buntled (I think my phone have 20+ mb internal mem, after flashing)
It also have two set of RGB leds on both side’s, gives cool visual effect.

Poor body built quality, the key pad is a bad pad, very small, tiny, not perfect coverd, hesitatingly touch feel, defanitly bad for big fingers.
The center directional keys and bad, it lose the colour quickly.
No flash.
Screen catch scratches easly/
Only one speaker inside front keys, so it is not too louder.
Camera is a waste at night.

If you are looking for a stylish, feature full, customisble musix phone chooce him or his elder brother w910i. I you want a study, rough usable, phone and if you want a phone to play just some music, video and browse net, and phone features, buy anything else.
