Really i am very frustrated after using using this cell for 6 months. I bought this model 6 months ago. The look and music and pictures attracted me to buy this model.that time i bought this model for rs.13, 000/- in univercell. First two months i liked this model very much and i was happy with the features and speed.
But i didn’t expect that i would go to service centre in the short time. Suddenly my cell got switched off and i couldn’t able to switch on.
I tried all the methods which was given in the Sony ericsson website[removing battery, sim and inserting them again, charging for a long time], as i did nothing to the mobile, i was using very carefully. Eventhough i was handling the mobile very carefully this problem occurred. Then i decided to give my mobile to service centre. They told some software corrupted sir like that. I was shocked but what to do, they updated the software and gave it to me after a week. That time i was somewhat ok with the mobile.
But it didn’t last for long time. After some 3 months, the keypad was not working[centre key, volume key, clear key and number 5 key]. That time only i really started to hate this mobile . What can one person do without the select key. I was able to do nothing with that mobile. Then i gave the mobile once again to the service centre. This time they said"no spare parts available sir, you can get your mobile after one week". But after three weeks only they gave the mobile. So, in 5 months of usage, i gave the mobile to service centre twice [though1 year guarantee is there, but.....]. After that for one month no problem occur ed, but the speed was very slow compared to initial stage.
People say that ’shack’ control is there, but i can tell surely that nobody is going to use that for long term, first one or two months it may useful because it is new, but afterwards it is not that much useful because that s not a essential functionality. Why i am writing this blog is i got irritated that much because of this model w595.
Apart from this, i faced some peculiar problems with this model.
- Can’t open the backside[to remove sim or mem card]easily as in Nokia or some other Sony ericsson models.
2.sliding becomes hard after the usage of 6 months.
3.the mobile is getting switched off often and it automatically restarts.
Sometimes i can’t able to open any song[alert:no media file found], and cant able to open camera pictures as well.
Now i am facing one peculiar problem, i can’t able to open my inbox. When i tried to open it is showing operation failed[i have 6000 + messages in my inbox, when i used the sort option i.e, sort by contact it failed].i thought it might be happened because of more memory usage, so i deleted some files in memory card and tried to open inbox but no use. I have to give it to service center once again.
So think twice before buying this cell.
