The phone serves as a true mid range phone, in that -
the Walkman is great.
GPRS apps if used are really good.
being a J2ME based phone, it doesn’t hang.
battery backup is amazing.
flight mode is very good.
I have been using this phone for over 2 years now, and am yet to encounter any major problems; less the connector contact problem. That gets really irritating, but comes up only after about a year of continuous use. I guess this is an issue with ALL sony models.
Overall, a great phone - but out of production now. I would definitely recommend this phone to my friends.
I guess the new’k’ series models are on similar lines and have equally good walkman features.
