I have been using the Sony Hard disk for over 3 years now, I know how you feel when you search for a reliable hard disk, I had also gone through so many reviews and finally zeroed in on this product, but this product did not let me down. I am a constant movie watcher, I download a lot of movies and store them in the HD. This is easily detected in any TV.
Pros -
Very fast data retrieval and there is no lag when you connect it to a TV or laptop to view the movies.
Very reliable and strong(Please don’t drop the HD)
Has a long cable(very good feature)
Metallic finish looks very good
Cons-
- It is a bit heavier than other HD’s
Great product, it is better than my WD HD which is not detected in my TV
