I purchased Sony LCD TV model-KLV 32BX350 IN5 an year ago. Picture quality is not so good as we can see the big pixels when watching from close.
It came with 1 year warranty and guess what, they predicted(I would say they were very sure)its life span very accurately; coz the TV’s power supply stopped working after just 2 months from warranty. Their tv repairer told it has to be replaced and will cost 4000 bucks for a new one(with 3 months warranty; We are pretty sure it will only work for next three months. To hell with Sony).
After an awful experience with their digicam(went useless soon after its warranty(1 yr) got expired. It was really not worth Rs.9000), that was really my bad to again go for sony brand TV. For those who are planning to buy Sony products, especially LCD TVs or digicams, I genuinely feel its a very bad idea.Their strategy is very foxy. If you buy a sony product(by mistake) then you will definitely get to pay "penalties".
