I strongly dissuade EVERYONE from even CONSIDERING to buy this or any other sony network walkman mp3 player. My walkmans USB cover broke off from the main body within 3 months of extremely cautious use. This made charging and transferring songs to and from the player a pain, not that the bundled software(sonic stage music manager) helped. The other body parts are pretty delicate too. The earphone-extension WORE OFF after one year. The other letdowns include the organic electroluminescence display and the hopeless navigation control, which help in extending the battery life to close to 30 hours(against a claimed 50) but leave the user very frustrated.
Oh, and the after sales is just as pathetic too!If I MUST mention the good things, the audio quality and bundled earphones may not please an audiophile but are still comparable to the other branded mp3 players in the same price range.
